Manual Treatments

Manual treatments combine various techniques, including deep tissue (fascia) release, passive and active joint mobilization, muscle stretching, acupressure, trigger point therapy, and kinesiology taping. Self-Management Techniques

If relevant, I also teach my patients self-management techniques, including various mobility and stretching exercises, strengthening exercises, and self-massage techniques. 

My goal is to provide as much knowledge and as many techniques as possible, empowering individuals with the tools they need to care for themselves.

YOGA

Weekly In-Person Yoga Classes

Yoga is a big part of my life, and through it, I help others release stress and become more peaceful and balanced on a weekly basis.

I teach:

  1. Every Thursday at YOGA HUSET Aalborg Strandvejen 19, 1. sal, from 19:30 to 20:45, offering a Yin Body Release & Meditation class (it’s conducted in English).
  2. Every Friday at Aalborg Fysioterapi, Grønlands Torv 24, from 11:15 to 12:30, I teach Gentle Yoga with a Focus on Calm (conducted in Danish).
YOGA

Specialized Yoga for Headache Relief

If you suffer from neck pain or headaches, possibly due to stress, poor posture, tension, or other health reasons, this class is for you. The focus of this class is on relieving headaches and neck pain.

This Yoga approach combines therapeutic techniques specifically aimed at alleviating pain, with a focus on mindful movement, breathing, and relaxation. By addressing both physical and mental aspects, this class goes beyond traditional Yoga to offer a truly holistic solution for chronic pain. What makes this yoga special is its individualized approach, ensuring each participant receives the support they need for long-term relief.

The classes are held every Thursday from 17:45 to 19:00 at FOKUS, Strandvejen 19, 9000 Aalborg (it’s conducted in Danish).

Connecting Yoga Retreats & Workshops

Healing is a journey, and sometimes stepping away from daily life is the best way to reset, recharge, and create real change. My workshops and retreats are designed to help you dive deeper into self-care, pain relief, and stress management through guided practices.

Whether you struggle with headaches, neck pain, jaw tension, or stress-related symptoms, these immersive experiences provide the tools and space needed for true healing.

What can I expect from a consultation with you?

Each person is unique, so our work together begins with understanding your specific pain patterns, lifestyle, and needs. In the first 4–5 consultations, we build a plan tailored to you. This may include exercises, lifestyle adjustments, self-care strategies, and, if needed, manual therapy. We monitor progress, making adjustments along the way to ensure you feel real, lasting improvement.

How often do I need to come for treatment?

It varies. Many people start with weekly sessions to establish a strong foundation. As symptoms improve—such as better sleep, fewer and less intense headaches, and a greater sense of calm—we adjust the frequency. Some continue every 2–3 weeks to maintain stability, while others transition to occasional check-ins when they feel the need. My goal is to empower you to recognize what works for you.
